Happy New Year! 2008 promises to be an exicting time for R/C racing in the Maritimes. The indoor racing series is progressing along with regular racers at each race and new racers trying out as well. Then we have the Off-Road racing that many racers cannot wait to hit the dirt. With new tracks in progress and tracks already in operation, racing will be easily accessible for all to enjoy.
In the works for this upcoming season of Off-Road R/C racing is a formal multi track series. This will allow racers from all over the Maritimes to travel to other tracks and test their skills against drivers that they would not see on a regular basis. It should deliver some exciting racing. Keep checking the site for more information.
A new features also now available for Martime R/C Racing is access to a membership. The membership have come about due to a few requests received from a few shops and organizations to offer discounts and special offers to members. To register, on the home page, click on the "Membership Registration" button or click here.

First off, for those of you that were debating going to the race in Saint-Andre (Grand Falls) and didn't go, you missed out. It was an amazing event. Congratulations to the organizers. On behalf of all of the racers, Thank you!
The cash prizes for the top three racers in each class proved to draw people from everywhere. There were racers from many part of Eastern Quebec, Bathurst, St. Quentin and the Moncton area to name a few. And we can't forget having the privilege of racing in front of 100's of spectators.
The track and facility was perfect. The track condidition after a full day of rain was nice and damp and provided for very fast racing. You'll see from the pictures that it is a beautiful track. With long sweeping banked turns to a huge step turn and a long straight with perfectly setup jumps it was a pleasure to race on. From start to finish the track itself is 815 feet.
Check out the pictures and results pages for more information. Again, thank you to the gang from Saint-Andre. Specially Allain, Richard, Luc and Lisa for your hospitality. We'll be up to see you for the next race guaranteed...
Here's also a quick shot of the group (click on image) that was left at the end. Thanks to all those who came out to race.
