2020 Redclay Offroad Summer Series Points
2020 was a great year for the Redclay RC Race Club, with many well attended race events. The club was able to have 7 race weekends between June and September. Thanks to Great Hobbies who supported the Club throughout the summer and congrats to all racers who came out and had fun racing their cars/trucks with their friends on some great days out!
Although there was not an official points race series, an ‘unofficial’ series was created (for fun) by applying the standard Livetime series rules to the summer series. This gave a series of 7 races with the racers lowest 2 results dropped.
Series Points are scored using the LiveTime lap counting software where:
- 1st is 100
- 2nd is 99
- 3rd is 98 …
- and continues to decrease by 1 point until the last racer.
- TQ gives an extra 2 pts. A TQ is denoted with the * on the point score for the race.
- The top 5 points per racer will be used to make their total score. 2 scores will be dropped from the 7 race series
- In case of any discrepancy in points, the track computer with livetime scoring is final
