Race number 2 at BlackFly R/C was held on August 4th. Despite the risk of showers 15 racers attended the race with 35 entries. The heavy rain that lasted about an hour the evening before the race, completely soaked the track, and it was in a perfect condition all day. The track provided lots of grip and zero dust.
Because of the threat of rain, it was decided to do a different race format. 1 qualifier only and then a Double Main (or Triple if the rain holds off). Unfortunately, we had to settle for a Double Main format due to the rain that started at the end of that round. (IFMAR style Double Mains: best out of 2 count, and tie breaker is the fastest lap/times)
