SJRC held its 7th race of the 2018/19 winter series. the series has run from Jan 2019. This race had a very low turnout, but the club members still had a good night of racing with lots of time for setup changes. Gregg was there early to help set-up and practice, and Jeremy came by at the end to help tear down.
The track was a higher speed track run counter-clockwise. Club members are going to a Nationals level race in Quebec, so we tried to make a flowy style track that they usually create for these events. No pictures or video exist of the track so you’ll have to take my word that the layout was fast and flowy.

In the TC final each racer took a shot at leading the race. Gordon put his car on the stands and the results showed with a solid 2nd place finish. 1/18 Spec A-Main: RESULTS
Fast Lap: Kyle: 6.720 – Q2
Small turnout lead to some close racing in the large open track layout. Kyle lead the class tone to tone. Late in the race Gordon charged to 2nd and was able to hold it for many laps, until a couple bad laps in a row allowed Mark to move to 2nd while Gordon fell to 3rd.
