The 2023 1/10 Dirt Offroad Masters was held on June 24, 2023 at the Skunkworks Test Track in Quispamsis, NB. This race was the 1st Maritime RC Racing regional event of 2023, and the first event focused on 1/10 classes.
The Masters race was moved from the Shady Pines track in Fredericton to Saint John for 2023. The summer of 2023 was super rainy on the weekends, and this event had been postponed from June 16. The track crew prepared the track in the days before the race. This is a clay track with a preparation of calcium applied to the surface to keep the dust down and the track damp. The track held up perfectly for the days event and allowed for very close racing.
